Programming just for the youth

Youth Night: The fourth Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, November at 5:30 p.m. we will host an activity great for those 12 and older.

Calling all youth! January youth night is all about your talents. There are NO try-outs. Everyone who wants to showcase their talent is welcome. Talents can be any skill such as stand-up comedy, impersonation, spoken word, singing, dancing, martial arts, yo-yo tricks, handclapping routines, crafting demonstration, interactive science experiment, etc. (Find 51 fantastic inspirations over here.)

All skills are different, and HCPL staff would love to see what you bring to the stage.

Let your creativity shine during our March youth night. There will be plenty of art supplies available to decorate your very own wooden bookmark. Check out 741 in the non-fiction section for some great inspiration books on drawing.

We will be playing Bingo during our May youth night. There will be prizes!

Don’t let the summer heat get you down. Come out to HCPL and cool down. July’s youth night will be an epic water balloon battle. We’ll provide the water balloons, but make sure to bring your own towels. And maybe some super soakers if you have them!
