Book/Audiobook Check Outs
These can be checked out for two weeks and renewed twice. There is a 10 cent fine for everyday the book/audiobook is late.
DVD/TV Series/Video Games Check Outs
DVD’s/TV Series can be checked out 1 week can be renewed if there are no holds on the items. Fines are $1.00 a day when they are late.
Magazine checkouts
Check out is for one week and can be renewed twice, fines are 10 cents per day.
Free Computer usage, Free Wi-Fi
Printing and Copying
- 15 cents per page for B&W
- 50 cents per page for color
- prices vary for lager size paper
- school students can print 50 pages a day for free anything above the 50 pages they will pay the 15 cents per page.
- Blank tax forms are printed for free
Free Notary Services
This service is available during our open hours M-Sat.

$1.00 per page incoming and outgoing

Genealogy
You can visit the genealogy room during our open hours M-Sat. We also have an employee who does do research for and will send the information to you at the cost of copies and postage. For more information contact the library at 304-822-3185 or genealogy@hamcopl.org and let us know what information you are looking for. Books and items in the genealogy room are non-checkout items and can not leave the library. Copies can be made from the UScan at 15 cents a copy.
Interlibrary Loan
If we don’t have an item you are looking for we will do our best to find it at another location and get it sent in for you to checkout. Stop by the front desk or call and let us know what you are looking for.
Fine Free Fridays
You can bring items back that are currently overdue any Friday and the fines will be forgiven. This is just for current fines on items and not for old fines.
Bring an item to pay your old Fines
We do have different months where we offer the patrons that have existing fines the chance to bring in certain items for different organizations. It is usually $1.00 per item brought in. This will be advertised before it starts.
