Library Updates

The Hampshire County Public Library will be opening to the public on March 15 at 1pm. Library patrons may have noticed construction vehicles in the library parking lot recently–the library is having repairs made to the roof. We ask that patrons bear with us in the upcoming weeks as the repairs continue and that patrons please avoid all scaffolding for the safety of all involved.

In other news, HCPL received a grant from the American Library Association and purchased 6 new computers and 4 new monitors with the funds! If the computer stations in the front of the library look (and perform) different, this is why.

HCPL has received several grants from the Hampshire County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation. These grants have funded our outdoor food pantry, the purchase of materials for our Overdrive collection, and the addition of 11 hotspots to the collection.
