July at HCPL

The Summer Reading Program schedule for July is still full of amazing, fun things to do! Don’t forget to keep tracking your reading on Beanstack Tracker by Zoobean, a mobile and web based application designed to facilitate reading challenges. You can even participate in challenges against other readers and the librarians here at HCPL! If online isn’t your style, we’ll have a tracking sheet for you to submit in person.

We will have a closing pool party at the Romney Community Pool at the end of July. In order to attend this event, you will have to have your punch card filled out from all the previous events held this summer.

Our July schedule is as follows:

July 9th – Experiment with Crisco

July 16th – Reading carnival

July 27th – Susan Parker talks about water contamination

July 30th – Closing pool party

Go on a fossil dig for real fossils at our youth STEM experiment and craft this July 2nd from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Identify and keep the fossils you find.
