Curbside Information

The Hampshire County Public Library will be returning to curbside services, as of November 30, 2020 due to the rising number of COVID cases in the county. We feel that this is the safest way to continue to serve the community at this time.
Patrons may make appointments to use library computers by calling 304-822-3185 or emailing hampshire.library@martin.lib.wv.us

HCPL’s curbside hours will be:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 10am-6pm
Tues/Thurs: 9am-5pm
Sat: 10am-4pm

As a reminder, we offer print/copy services, notary services, and item pickup through our curbside service. Items may be placed on hold through a patron’s online account or holds can be called in to the number above. We do request that patrons allow a minimum of 1 hour between placing a request and picking it up.

We also would like to remind patrons of our e-resources at this time. The Hampshire County Public Library offers access to ebooks and e-audiobooks through Overdrive and access to downloadable movies through Kanopy. Educational resources are available on both Learning Express Library and WV Infodepot, both provided by the West Virginia Library Commission. Finally, if patrons have a library card with the West Virginia Library Commission, they can access Hoopla, AcornTV, WVReads and a plethora of additional research resources here: https://wvlcguides.org/az.php
