HCPL offers food for community members that are in need. Stop by the front desk and fill out a form and give it to an employee and we will be happy to help you. HCPL is able to provide this service to the community from donations/grants from EWCF, CUW and local community members. We close all Federal and State Holidays. Inclement weather we close if the road conditions are dangerous to travel on and we post those closings on Facebook by 8 am of the day we close. We also close or have delayed opening for staff meeting/trainings throughout the year. These are also posted on the door of the library and on Facebook.
We have special events and programs throughout the year. Check Facebook for the times and the events. We are changing some of the programming up and will be offering different activities for the teens and adults. We will be offering these periodically throughout the year. We will be involved with the Christmas in Romney again this year, more information to follow.
